Nola Cans 4 Food is an organization started at Lucky Dagger as a solution to the lack of recycling in the city of New Orleans. We collect empty aluminum cans, empty/clean containers, utensils, and grocery bags. We recycle the cans for cash, and use the cash to buy and cook meals to distribute in the re-usable containers to the New Orleans Community Fridges and unhoused people in the city. Lucky Dagger is one of the main locations for free drop offs (Wed-Sun 12-4PM).
